Sarah started her education at Western University for Kinesiology to get a good grasp on the knowledge and understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics. Subsequently, she completed of her Masters of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, to fulfill her dream of becoming an osteopathic manual practitioner and aiding those who are suffering, as she has. This four year program involves over 4200 hours of education, including 1000 hours of supervised clinical training, and an exceptional education of the interconnections between the all the systems of the body.
Sarah’s training also incorporates the principles of application for various techniques, such as post-isometric relaxation, myofascial release, osteoarticular osscilation, cranial sacral therapy, reciprocal inhibition, point trigger release, visceral manipulation, and strain-counterstain techniques. Her passion for helping people with osteopathic manual therapy only intensified as she gained more understanding of the human body, along with experiencing first hand how Osteopathy can relieve pain, heal the body, and restore health.
