Classical Osteopathy was first discovered, by Dr. A.T. Still in the late 1800's. It was the only profession at the time treating the root cause of the disease and using very few drugs or pharmaceuticals. Dr. Still believed that nature was our best medicine and that the body had everything it needed to self-heal and self-regulate, but that sometimes it needed a little help.

Coming from a competitive sporting background in rowing and other sports, I had my fair share of injuries which eventually needed to be addressed. So along with my chronic digestive issues led me to learn more about nutrition, supplements, and manual therapies; as conventional medicine continued to fall short for me. As a nutritionist I quickly realized I was not the only person not finding the answers in the traditional medical system and that it wasn’t enough to guide people on nutrition, that there must be a more whole body approach. This is when I discovered Osteopathic Manual Therapy.
