Irvin graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy with a Master of Osteopathic Manual Science.
His journey in bodywork began early, as he grew up in a family business deeply rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. After graduating from the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese medicine, he worked at a clinic for many years, specialised in acupuncture.
His passion for anatomy and the body inspired him to study the performing arts, and he went on to receive his Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance from York University. Over the last decade he has worked concurrently as a professional dancer and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner. This experience has provided him with an in-depth understanding of the body and how it moves, and his time working with dancers, athletes, and the general population gave him the skills and knowledge to work with a multitude of bodies and injuries.
To enhance his skills and provide better care for his patients, Irvin pursued an osteopathic education and received his Master’s of Osteopathic Manual Science. He found the principles governing osteopathy to be incredibly efficient, potent, and well-aligned with his philosophy on health and patient care. He uses his skills, knowledge, and experience to provide the best possible care for his patients, helping them to achieve their best health and their best selves.
