Lisa is a graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO), holding a Master in Practice of Osteopathic Manual Sciences (M.OMSc). She is a member in good standing with the Ontario Osteopathic Association. Trained in a principles-based approach to Osteopathy, Lisa applies this methodology to support her patients on their journey toward optimal health and wellness.

Before pursuing Osteopathy, Lisa became an American Sign Language–English Interpreter in 2001. She has worked extensively with Deaf communities across Canada, providing interpretation in a wide range of settings—including post-secondary education, legal, medical, mental health, employment, and video relay services. Her interpreting work, which demanded ongoing learning and adaptation, sparked a deep appreciation for anatomy and the complexity of the human body.

Lisa’s passion for health and movement deepened when she became a certified yoga instructor in 2017. Through yoga and her own experiences receiving osteopathic treatment, she witnessed firsthand the body’s ability to heal and was inspired to shift her career toward Osteopathy.

Today, Lisa is committed to working with both hearing and Deaf clients, using Osteopathic Manual Therapy to restore balance, ease restrictions, and support the body’s natural self-healing mechanisms through improved blood flow, nerve communication, and lymphatic circulation.

Outside of her practice, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, being near the water, exploring nature, traveling, and capturing meaningful moments in her creative scrapbooks.
