Using an osteopathic principles based approach with treatment, I treat the body as a dynamic unit of function, understanding that the body is self-healing and self-regulating. As a licensed Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, I focus on the interrelations of structure and function, by means of manual-gentle manipulation. I specialize in helping individuals with TMJ dysfunction, sciatica, concussions, low back and neck pain, herniated or bulging discs, and those in need of lymphatic drainage — all while focusing on providing effective relief and long-lasting results for my clients.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping many babies and their parents with concerns such as torticollis (head tilt), latching issues, and tongue ties. I also like to assess and treat mothers alongside their babies to ensure a more comprehensive approach to care, as Osteopathy looks not only at the body but also at what is being transferred to and from it. Supporting both mother and baby allows me to help the family as a whole find balance and relief.
My interest in manual therapy began at a young age. I was born with clubfoot and spent the first seven to eight years of my life seeing a specialist, which had a profound impact on me. I knew early on that a career in manual therapy would be life-changing, and that passion has stayed with me ever since.
Before pursuing Osteopathy, I spent three and a half years studying pharmacology — starting at the University of Albany and later continuing my studies at the University of Sunderland in England. My journey into Osteopathy began when my cousin, who is an osteopath, treated me and introduced me to the field. I quickly realized that Osteopathy genuinely focuses on the root cause of health concerns, addressing the whole body to promote both physical and mental well-being. This approach resonated deeply with me and solidified my passion for this work. Outside of my practice, you can find me cooking delicious meals, taking my dog, Miles, on walks to the parks/trails, and playing sports such as basketball and soccer!
