Steve Wheeler

Steve is a graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, a 4 year education which is a 4400 hour program that includes 1000 hours of supervised student clinic and is an OSCTAN member in good standing. It is here where he received a comprehensive education in anatomy, physiology and osteopathic principles. He worked as an electrician for many years, until his curiosity about holistic wellness and the intricacies of the human body got the better of him, and he found a new path toward osteopathy. Steve applies the problem-solving skills he developed in his trade to help his patients find health, and alleviate dysfunction by identifying the root cause of the problem. Steve was born and raised in Centre Wellington and is excited to be part of the team at Body Mechanik. When he’s not at the clinic, he enjoys country life with his two energetic daughters and lovely wife Melissa. You’ll find him gardening, dabbling in animal husbandry, and perfecting his beef jerky recipe.
